The animals are taking on humans and reptiles
In the state of Texas, there are plenty of animals that are considered “predatory.” Squirrels are usually not on that list. However, for one Texas neighborhood, a squirrel has taken over and become aggressive. The squirrel has bitten two residents, causing them to go to the hospital to get checked out. The residents have stated that they have contacted both animal control and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to come and capture the animal.
Squirrels in Texas mean business. A few years ago, a squirrel was caught on camera holding and biting the head of a snake. This occurred in Guadalupe Mountains National Park. Generally, squirrels will eat things like nuts and berries but they are opportunists and will sometimes eat other things like insects, lizards and snakes.
